Customer Rides: Lexus LFA (475/500) Comes in for a Baseline Dyno It’s not everyday you come across a Lexus LFA, but when you do it’ll most likely be on display at a Lexus dealership, auto show or cruising along the PCH. This time around it’s on SP Engineering grounds where a customer of ours (who also own’s a GT-R) wanted to have a baseline dyno run extracted from his Japanese super car. Some fun facts about the Lexus LFA:• Unique carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) cabin which saves up to 220lb’s over an equivalent aluminum design.• Max Speed of 202MPH• 0-60 in 3.6• V10 Powerplant • Only 500 examples were produced worldwide Lexus began taking pre-orders for the LFA October 21st of 2009 with official production date starting December 1st of 2010. Only 20 LFA’s were produced each month for 25 consecutive months for a maximum of 500 LFA’s. The final LFA was produced on December 14th, 2012. Our customer owns number 475/500. We did a total of 3 consecutive pulls:1st Pass: 467.6WHP/310.4WTQ2nd Pass: 461.4WHP/307.8WTQ3rd Pass: 470.9WHP/310.4WTQ Thanks for looking.– SP Customer RidesPeter OhMarch 1, 2013lexus, lfa, 475, 500, baseline, dyno Facebook0 Twitter Tumblr 0 Likes
