A month and a half before the Shift-S3ctor Airstrip Attack event this past April, Joshua brought his brand new 2014 Nissan GT-R to us for an SPE1000R package.  Mind you – He has never owned a Japanese vehicle, was not at all familiar with GT-R’s, but did it because he was open to suggestions and his kids helped choose the new toy for him.  We’re not even sure if Joshua knew what he was getting himself into, but we’re glad because we built a good relationship together.

When I mentioned this was Joshua’s toy, I really meant it.  His first mod with us was this Stillen carbon ceramic brake kit that will have your face smashed into the steering wheel under hard braking.  What’s so great about carbon ceramic …

When I mentioned this was Joshua’s toy, I really meant it.  His first mod with us was this Stillen carbon ceramic brake kit that will have your face smashed into the steering wheel under hard braking.  What’s so great about carbon ceramic rotors?  They look cool (looking cool is important), they’re light as hell, they’re bigger (400mm) and they look cool…

Beside looking cool, brake cooling is also very important.  Prior to joining the SPE club, Joshua had a full PasswordJDM lip kit installed.  As some may know, their front lip has an optional brake duct that can be attached to the underside…

Beside looking cool, brake cooling is also very important.  Prior to joining the SPE club, Joshua had a full PasswordJDM lip kit installed.  As some may know, their front lip has an optional brake duct that can be attached to the underside of the lip.  To maximize brake cooling efficiency, our techs got creative and conjoined the PasswordJDM brake duct with TiTek’s air brake guide.

Our techs wasted no time and began tearing down the motor when Joshua came in after pulling the trigger on our SPE1000R package.

This was our first time working with a Fore Innovations product.  This one in particular is the triple fuel pump module and supports up to 1600+ AWHP.  For those on the fence about it, we recommend it.

Supports over 1600 all wheel horsepower

E85 and race fuel compatible (see pump manufacturer recommendations on fuel compatibility)

Requires aftermarket fuel feed and return lines

Retains OEM level sender, temperature sensor, and transfer function

O-ring pump seal eliminates in-tank fuel hose to completely eliminate failures in E85 and race gas applications

High current hermetic wire seal completely eliminates the possibility of fuel smells and leaks

12 gauge power wires ensure maximum pump performance

Polymer pump support minimizes pump noise and eliminates electrolysis

Transfers without restrictor orifice on return discharge, ensuring accurate fuel pressure under any output or consumption conditions

Assembly of the motor was done in a timely manner.

Just as the tuner finished tuning Joshua’s SPE1000R GT-R, his Mine’s CF bumper grille came in. Such a small but noticeable piece.
