Infiniti Q60S Redsport - Baseline Dyno Runs

We have definitely been a curious bunch at the shop about the VR30DDTT engine the engine's R35 heritage. So when David dropped by the shop hoping to do some dyno pulls, we made time for him right away! (JFYI, we prefer appointments 99% of the time!) Infiniti released the Redsport model of the Q60 about a year ago, and it has produced some well earned attention.

After seeing the numbers below, we are pretty convinced into putting our own spin in building and tuning these cars in the soon future. By viewing the torque curve, you can see that there is a dip from 3000 to 4000 RPMs. While common on OEM tunes, proper modifications and tuning can help create a much more useable torque curve for all around driveability and performance.

All in all, for a car rated at 400HP, making close to 350 to the wheels seems appropriate. However, our intentions in the future are to push far past the 350whp mark. When we do, you can definitely expect to see the write up on our blog!
